Healthy recipe:
Date dessert
- 1 cup of dates
- 1/2 cup of nuts (any variety)
- 1 apple
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup cream
Cut the dates into strips and grind the nuts.
Grate the lemon rind,
chop the apples, and mix all ingredients
together with the cream.
Healthy recipe: ‘Happy' compote
- 1 cup dates
- 1/2 cup bilberries or blueberries
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp honey
Place the dates in a litre of water and place on a low heat until they soften.
Then add the bilberries, cubes of sliced lemon, and honey. Cook for 5 minutes.
